Impressive cooling power – but a few things to be aware of.
I bought this set of neck fans with built-in air conditioning as a gift for my husband, and he’s been genuinely impressed, he doesn’t hand out praise lightly. He says it’s not just a fancy fan, it’s a true air conditioning unit for your neck, and it really works as one.
Performance:
The cooling is excellent. There’s a proper cooling plate, the rear fan blows chilled air, and the front two (while not as cool) also push cooled air forward. This isn’t just a powerful fan, it genuinely cools the air like a miniature AC unit.
Battery life:
This is where things are a bit less perfect. On the lowest setting (with cooling plate – air con and fans running), it lasts around 5 hours, fine for home use. But outdoors in serious heat, the higher setting drains the battery in about 2 hours. That makes it less practical for on-the-go use, which is disappointing for something marketed as portable.
My husband pointed out that interchangeable batteries would be a brilliant upgrade. He has other fans with swappable batteries and finds it much more practical than waiting for recharging. A similar system here would greatly increase usability.
Design and comfort:
The fixed curved shape is where we ran into the most frustration. It’s meant to rest over the shoulders, but it’s not flexible at all. If you position it so the cooling plate touches your neck (as intended), the front fans stick out and create gaps. If you wear it as per the design curve, the cooling plate and rear fan shift out of place, especially while walking and the whole unit starts to rest on your shoulders instead of staying aligned. Great for sitting still, not ideal for walking, and definitely unsuitable for exercise.
Battery size discrepancy:
It’s worth noting that the unit is advertised as having a 6000mAh battery, but ours arrived with a 5200mAh battery. To Temu’s credit, they issued a partial refund without any fuss, which we appreciated this very much.
Value for money:
For the price, it’s fantastic. Products offering this kind of active cooling usually cost up to ten times more elsewhere.
Final thoughts:
Despite the quirks, this is a very clever little device. It works brilliantly at home or in a stationary setting. The battery life and inflexible design are a bit limiting, but given the price and the rare functionality, it’s still an excellent product. With a few design tweaks, it could be outstanding. Even with all of this said I think it still deserves 5 stars and I would highly recommended it for indoor cooling or short outings.

Despite looking very bulky and heavy, it has pleasantly surprised me. It’s comfortable, and what I liked most is its cooling plate… you can really feel it, and the air jet on the back is also great… It will definitely be my ally on my vacation trips and in general when the heat gets intense. I’ve had other neck fans, and this one seems to be the most powerful… although if you have long hair like me, you’ll need to tie it up because the back fan can pull on it!

The refrigerated plate is a great addition and the flow of air really covers the face in a cooling stream. The battery life is so much superior and lasts for a while. Although it is somewhat heavier than the previous models, it is soft and easily contours around the neck for optimal performance. Very happy with purchase and seller.
