It works perfectly against night-flying moths and bugs. So far, there have been no mosquitoes in the apartment, but it would certainly catch them too. When a bug flies into it, the high voltage passes through it, causing it to spark and buzz. This light and sound effect near the bed at night is a bit disturbing… but it’s effective.
